Where did you go for your summer holiday, and what drew you to that destination?

This summer, I spent a month and a half in Italy. For the first 10 days, I was with a group of my girlfriends on the Amalfi Coast, which became a period of female connection and inspiration for me. We laughed a lot, dressed up, and danced.

The rest of the time, I stayed in a small village near Genoa with my boyfriend, our cats, and my sister. It was important to me to spend this time with the people closest to my heart. Together, we explored other Italian cities like Pisa and Florence.

What was the most memorable moment from your trip?

Almost every day of those six weeks was memorable because we tried to make each one special. What I miss the most are the dinners in the garden of our house. The village was on a hill, so we had an incredible view of Genoa and the endless sea.

Did you discover any hidden gems or must-visit spots that you'd recommend?

Not far from Genoa there is a little town called Nervi. It has a long rocky coastline where anyone can find a quiet spot to enjoy the Italian sun. Before swimming, you can relax in the park, visit the modern art museum, and finish the day with a traditional Pinsa in the harbor at sunset. I visited many beaches near Genoa, and Nervi is definitely one of my favorites.

How did the culture or vibe of the place inspire your style or mood?

Italy has such a strong cultural influence that you naturally start to feel its charm and embrace the dolce vita vibe. Instead of a cap, I felt like wearing a scarf; even on the beach, I wore necklaces.I leaned towards light-colored, natural fabrics and simple but elegant styles.

You styled pieces from our collection during your trip - how did they fit into your travel wardrobe?

The drawstring cotton pants in White became my go-to item during the trip. They worked for everything — paired with a swimsuit in the morning for the beach, or dressed up with a silk blouse and ballerinas for a wine evening.

We had a hammock in the garden, and I often fell asleep there while reading a book. Most of the time, I stayed in my underwear because it was so hot. There’s nothing better than lying in a colorful hammock in perfectly white comfortable lingerie under the shade of an olive tree. For me, that’s the essence of summer!

How do you usually approach packing for a trip? Any tips for balancing practicality and style?

I traveled with just a carry-on suitcase and carefully chose clothes that were easy to mix and match. Summer makes this easier because the weather calls for lightweight, natural fabrics. I packed silk and thin cotton pieces, and accessories helped me switch up my looks. My favorite finds were a colorful pearl necklace from a vintage market in Nice and a scarf from a Paris vintage shop.

What’s your number one travel tip for making the most of a holiday?

Treat every trip like you’ll definitely return to that place. This mindset helps you avoid packing your schedule too tightly and lets you truly relax. Listen to what your body and mind need. If they want a day in the garden with a book instead of rushing to visit every shop, museum, and restaurant in one go — then that’s exactly what you should do!

What’s your next dream destination?

My dream is to visit Japan. I even dream about it at night! I feel like this place is waiting for me, and I know I’ll feel amazing there. Ideally, I’d like to stay there for a month or two to truly experience the people and culture.

Your summer holiday playlist?

In the summer, I love listening to music that keeps me in a dreamy, happy state. While there weren’t many typical Italian songs in my playlist (though some did sneak in, haha), I often listened to Talnik, a duo from my home country. Their music reflects my inner world — slightly absurd, slightly nostalgic, but very light and bright. Another favorite was the song "Quick Canal," which made me feel like I was floating, smiling endlessly, and completely carefree. This kind of music helps me escape the busy city mindset and just enjoy the moment.
